Great question regarding my blog "What´s your physical (as opposed to nutritional) recovery strategy?" Answer: I try to always take an ice bath after a race but if unable at the time will elevate my legs against a wall for about 10 to 15 minutes, take an Epson Salt bath (easy to take bags along) & have a light massage. When traveling I always wear compression tights on all flights and after a race as well.
